Bi-Vocational Pastor for Solid Rock Baptist Church - Hundred, West Virginia

Solid Rock Baptist Church is a warm and welcoming Southern Baptist congregation located on the outskirts of Hundred, West Virginia. We are a small, close-knit family of believers who love worshiping and serving together. Our desire is to grow both spiritually and physically under the leadership of a pastor committed to preaching the truth of God's Word and guiding us through faithful ministry and community engagement.

Position Overview
We are prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational pastor to lead our church family in worship, discipleship, and outreach. The pastor will serve as both shepherd and teacher-encouraging believers, equipping the church for ministry, and reaching the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
 

Primary Responsibilities
• Faithfully preach and teach the whole Word of God.
• Provide pastoral care through visitation, counseling, and prayer.
• Lead and nurture spiritual growth within the congregation.
• Engage actively in community outreach and local missions.
• Offer leadership and vision to help the church grow in faith and service.
 

Qualifications
• A clear calling to pastoral ministry and a heart for small-church ministry.
• Agreement with the beliefs and mission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
• Strong communication and relational skills.
• Experience in preaching, teaching, and pastoral care preferred
• Bi-vocational flexibility and commitment to long-term ministry encouraged.
